Privacy policy

RenewAlert · Version 1.2.4
Effective date: November 7, 2026

Favillaez Labs develops RenewAlert, an Android app for tracking subscriptions and renewal reminders. This policy describes the current app, including its prerelease distribution.

Information stored on your device

RenewAlert stores the subscription names, amounts, billing cycles, dates and reminder settings you enter. It also stores locally generated subscription identifiers, your introduction preference and the renewal dates for which a notification has been sent. This information is used to display your subscriptions, calculate spending summaries and schedule reminders.

Collection and sharing

RenewAlert does not transmit your subscription records to Favillaez Labs or an app server. The app has no account system, advertising, analytics or third-party tracking SDKs, and does not request internet access. We do not receive or sell your subscription records.

Storage, backups and security

Records are stored in the app’s private storage on your Android device. The app does not add a separate encryption layer; protection depends on Android and your device security. The current version disables Android cloud backup and excludes app data from standard Android device-transfer mechanisms. RenewAlert provides no cloud sync, export or recovery service.

Earlier test versions allowed Android backups. This version does not retroactively delete backups those versions may have created. Manage any earlier backups through your device or backup provider.

Permissions and notifications

Notification permission is used for renewal reminders. You can allow or deny it and change your choice in Android settings. The app also receives the device restart event to reschedule reminders. Notifications can contain subscription names and renewal dates, which may appear on your lock screen depending on your settings. Android power and notification settings can delay or prevent delivery.

Retention and deletion

Your records stay in local app storage until you delete them or Android removes that storage. Delete an individual subscription from its details screen to remove its record and scheduled reminder. To remove all local app data, use Android Settings to clear RenewAlert’s storage or uninstall it. Clearing storage, uninstalling or losing the device can permanently erase your records. There is no app account to delete, and Favillaez Labs cannot recover your local records.

Support email

If you voluntarily email favillaezlabs@gmail.com, we receive your email address and the message and attachments you send. We use them to respond to your request. Email is handled outside the app through Gmail, subject to Google’s Privacy Policy. Do not send passwords or payment-card details. You may request deletion of support correspondence by contacting the same address; any retention required by law or the email provider’s backup processes may still apply.

Website and external services

Opening privacy or support links launches a browser or email app. Those services have their own privacy practices. See our website privacy information for website hosting details.

Changes and contact

We will update this page and its effective date when the app’s data practices change. For privacy questions, contact Favillaez Labs at favillaezlabs@gmail.com.
